# Roadmap

The Taptap3D publication roadmap from catalogue production to item embeds and ecommerce adapters.

The catalogue workflow is implemented. Public publication is the next product surface, followed by integration with existing websites and commerce systems.

| Stage                     | Outcome                                                                                      | Status                     |
| ------------------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | -------------------------- |
| Catalogue production | Reviewed inventory records produce an editable catalogue and PDF. | Implemented |
| Pilot tenant foundation | Verify deployment, membership boundaries, assets, exports and recovery across organisations. | In progress |
| Public listing projection | Derive approved public text and images from one record. | Planned |
| Per-item embed | Display a listing on an existing website with withdrawal and revision behaviour. | Planned |
| Online catalogue | Publish a navigable collection with ordering and catalogue-level metadata. | Planned |
| Channel adapters          | Map public listings into a partner's commerce system.                                        | Planned; partner-dependent |

The embedding release must include a stable public contract, public image rights, field review, revocation behaviour and browser checks. Documentation will move from design notes to installation and API reference when those exist.

No release dates or compatibility promises are committed here. This page was reviewed on 8 October 2026.

Scanned catalogue ingestion and house-specific template learning are related product work. They do not replace the publication controls needed before an item can be embedded.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.taptap3d.com/project/roadmap.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `build a script that syncs our docs to a CMS` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
